I completely agree with you, this should have been all about this youth and her birthday! This is a PERFECT example as to why our people still struggle within our own community to this very day. This time it (freedom) is no longer held hostage by opposing forces, it is all on us. I DO NOT see the reason why anything negative, derogatory or implied had to pertain to her fathers past. We all loved him and his music and I'm pretty sure you bobbed your head to him on occasion. This article was purely your poor attempt or maybe ignorance at sensationalizing yet another African American story, don't we get enough of that in the mainstream media already my brother/sister? Whom ever you are. There was no need to mention the past cons of her late father, especially in the context in which you presented this (birthday) story. True journalism is predicated on providing the facts on matters of importance, education, awareness and relevance to our lives as well as our cultures. So I challenge you the next you begin to write/cover a story, make sure the information is appropriate to the subject at hand and not just another sensationalize stereotypical story of some miss guided "BLACK URBAN" sister or brother. Instead look to find the beauty in all of our people and the amazing diversity within that same culture when it presents itself. Please Note: This is in no way suggesting the you sugar coat, lye or cover up REAL NEWS of the day, just make sure your apples and oranges are in there respective places.

The funniest part of this show is how the demand is more than being a "women's basketball" nothing more than being a trophy wife. However, the opening of the show each pose in a lesson TROPHY ... lol ..... first protect its image against the "trophy wife" label is that you should not make a ridiculous reality show in which again presented to the public as part of a trophy .
